Walking With A Limp.

[ 2 ] January 11, 2010 | Milan Ford

On last Friday, while on my way to work, a great friend of mine sent me a text congratulating me on the recent success of THIS book. In short, he asked me how the ’success’ I was now experiencing was affecting me.

After a short pause, I replied with this:

I am glad God saw fit to give me a ‘limp’ to walk around with. Makes running without wisdom during this time harder to do.

I have learned over the years that it is extremely dangerous for leader to experience a blessing from God if he or she has yet to experience wrestling with Him first. This year marks the three-year anniversary of one of the most lowest times in my life; a time when I wrestled with God in more ways than I can remember.

That experience (you can read about it HERE if you like) left me with quite a limp.
However, it is a limp that I am extremely thankful for now.
