Uninvited.

[ 4 ] June 10, 2009 | Milan Ford

My wife and i were discussing a few things as it relates to our ministry futures this morning. Something we’ve been doing more now than ever before. Came away with a powerful quote from her when asking for her opinion about how to give counsel and advice to others (especially when you see that they are in need of some). This is what she told me:

Uninvited advice will always sound like criticism.

Better to focus on BEING the example than just trying to CREATE an example. {God, I love that chick.}

    Sounds like a wise lady! This is a biblical concept Jesus embraced too when he said to be the light they see in the world. Better to wear the fragrance of holiness than to constantly be caught trying to pour it over someone else’s head.

    Now that’s good stuff. I totally agree and have been in situations countless times to know it’s the truth. And this is why I admire the two of you. Love you, fam!!!
