After watching this, I can’t help but to wonder what it is we think we’re doing Sunday after Sunday. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is church.

Want to thank the 410 Bridge staff for all that they are doing for the cause of Christ.

I almost cried watching this video…Father please forgive me for taking my life for granted and actually believing at times that I have something worth complaining about.

This is reality! This is life in Africa! May God continue to reach out and touch souls for Jesus Christ through the practical work of saints like these!

  5. Clement N Dlamini says:

Milan, these are the realities will live with in Africa and some of the areas in the country of Swaziland where I come from. That is one of the reasons I had to force matters and come to Texas to study towards my Masters in Social Work. I really admire the work done by 410 Bridge, it is just phenomenal what they doing, the washing of the feet was Christ demonstration of a service that we need to provide.

What people see here is just a glimpse of the suffering children go through due to the HIV and AIDS epidermic killing the parents to these children, so our impact mitigation measures need a lot of support from the Body of Christ globally. A sneak preview, in Swaziland in a population of 1 million we have HIV Prevalence rate in pregnant women at 42.6% and you can imagine the devastation that will happen when these mothers die, projections are that by 2010 we will be having 120 000 orphaned and vulnerable children due to either AIDS or AIDS related sicknesses.

The church is working hard there, but resources are just not available, some of the work can be seen here http://www.cabrini-ministries-swaziland.blogspot.com/ and many other groups who are focused on just empowering the kids.
