I must say I have really enjoyed (watching) the Olympics this year. This dude Phelps is a beast.
Although my wife has been a big fan for some time, I have always had a little trouble watching the swimming competitions. Probably has something to do with men in speedos. Not exactly my thing.
But I will say I have learned one valuable lesson recently from this guy Phelps.
Records are meant to be broken. Not kept.
It is amazing how many church leaders (I know of) who are sorely afraid of being replaced by others. It is just a natural progression. Be happy of the standards (or records) you’ve made…
and then get out of the way. The Phelps(s) of the world are coming…
