Out Of Business.

[ 4 ] June 1, 2009 | Milan Ford

Dave Samford, author of the upcoming book, If God Disappears: 9 Faith Wreckers And What To Do About Them, told a room of Christian journalists and editors a while ago that “…over 31 million Americans are apart of an exodus from the church…Any business that is losing 31 million customers is going out of business.”

Interesting thought.

This food for thought is quite troublesome, if I am honest. If we are losing customers kingdom work is not being done and if we aren’t getting anymore there is no reproduction. Great Post!

Great post!!! I completely agree, more kingdom work needs to be done.

with so much sin that is occuring within the churches people are losing faith this explain the reason people are leaving the church. but they not need to look at man as an example but look to Christ.

We might be out of new customer’s because they are confused about the product… Too many people (in America anyway) today claiming to be Christian and look nothing like Christ. Therefore, the new customer’s could care less about the product.

BTW… it is “David Sanford” not Dave Samford. (I only know that because I go to church with him :) )

    Great Post Milan,

    Keith
