No More.
While in the darkest prison (and period) of his life and ministry,
the Apostle Paul wrote this words:
“But I want you to know, bretheren, that the things WHICH HAPPENED to me have actually turned out for the furtherance of the gospel, so that it has become evident to the whole palace guard, and to all the rest, that my chains are IN CHRIST, and most of the brethren in the Lord, having become confident by my chains, are much more bold to speak the word WITHOUT FEAR.” – Philippians 1:12-14
This year I encourage you (just as I am did while reading this passage today), let’s remove ALL EXCUSES this year. Where we are right now (believe it or not) is for the FURTHERANCE of the gospel.
That place in which we may feel bound, if we reset our eyes on what’s truly important, can enable even those who are responsible for our chains to discover the glory of our God and be empowered by Him.
No more excuses family. No more.

Amen! Thank you for greater insight into this scripture. The “furtherance of the gospel” is comforting in times of affliction and helps me get through it instead of being buried by it.
I too thank you for the insight of ‘futherance.”
Funny how kindred spirits align…my first sermon of the year was: Facing Your Giants! 1 Samuel 17:45-46 : Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. “This day the LORD will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you.” No more excuses indeed!
