On the eve of the historical inauguration of President-Elect Barack Obama, may we all carve out some time today to thank God for the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. There has never been (in the history of our country) a greater American. Black or white.
God I love this man.

But I watched Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have A Dream” speech all the way through for the first time last night.
And cried.
This is indeed a day of historic remembrance.
It is such an honor to be alive to see history – in the making.
i love the man as well and am truly grateful to reap the benefits of his labor and to be alive to walk in his dream, i am honored and we are all beyond blessed.

like many americans who watched and impacted by the events of yesterday,I cant help but, thought of the time I was in Kenya over 20 years ago teaching at an international leadership training school with over 100 leaders from all over africa. I am sure they watched yesterday and celebrated the potential we all have in God. Thank God for America as a nation that allowed this to happen so, we can all share in the celebration and join in line for possibilities that awaits us if we stay the course.
