Inseparable.

[ 3 ] February 9, 2009 | Milan Ford

“TRAGEDY and WORSHIP are INSEPARABLE.”

I shared that with some family and friends on last Friday – as we coped with the tragic loss of a great young man. Among the other 1,600 words I attempted to share with them on that day, none resounded greater than this song.

One we all left that day singing.

How Great Is Our God! (my anthem)

  1. Thanks for sharing this, Milan. Sounded like a tough one to do. I am sure God gave you power to stand and speak into their lives. Two of my favorite songs. Who is this artist?

  2. Millie says:

Never thought about the connection between Tragedy and Worship. Can’t make it through one without the other.

  3. Milan,
Sorry to hear of the loss. Good news about how the service was ended in worship.
I discovered your blog via streaming faith a couple of months ago. I find it insightful, brutally transparent and good for some Godly chuckles. Like being a ministry “survivor” for example. As a 4th generation believer with “way too much” church experience(my grandpa was a Rev. Dr……, grew up in a family church etc)…. I smile that at your age you know to call yourself a survivor. I like your influences/links.
Stay encouraged, stay relevant, stay devoted to your family, your God. Keep clear channels Man of God.
I’m keeping faith simple in my corner of the world. As a new blogger I’d be interested in your thoughts on my blog. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
