Every Key.

[ 2 ] February 3, 2009 | Milan Ford

Although I am still a young man (turning 33 in just a few days), I’m pretty confident that every key necessary for the local church to become successful today is hidden somewhere within the leadership (and staff) of every church.

I’m also pretty confident that every key necessary for the local church to become a failure today is hidden somewhere within the leadership (and staff) of every church.

Seems to me that there’s never really been a problem for the local church to locate the doors we want to walk through. And close.

The problem lies in locating the keys.
And when located, using them.

No matter how hard it may hurt.

Very Well Said! Another great blog, Milan. All starts and ends with us as leaders/staff in the church.

Could not agree with you more. All of us created in the image of our God was born to lead.
The question comes in Lead who? lead where? lead when? and lead how? Most people confuse lead with rule where the word rule means to guide.
Who are we guiding, and where are we guiding them, what are we guiding them to become and when do we do the guiding. the answer is all the time and everyone we incounter.
We have more influence over some more than others but we are always sending out messages to those we encounter – -leading them towards good or evil, greatness or meodocrity, success or failure.
I am reading the book “On Becoming a Leader” by Warren Bennis. would highly recommend it to all those interested in developing into the leader God has designed us to be.
    Be Blessed
