Christmas Sabbath.

[ 12 ] December 20, 2009 | Milan Ford

For perhaps the past 12-16 months, my family has had to find the room in their hearts to love the back of my head while I sat at my computer night after night to write THIS book.

Not to mention the hours each week I carve out of my time with them to provide this blog with fresh content each week. Well, I’ve decided that for the next couple of days, my face will belong to them.

Beginning today through Wednesday, December 30th, I am going to take a much needed sabbatical from this blog, my personal email, and all things social media. As someone who has recently released a book, and thanks to so many of you, now supports a blog that is increasing in popularity, I’m sure many of my peers would advise me to do the opposite.

However, if there’s one lesson that I have learned over the past couple of years, it is this:

It is extremely easy to become a PUBLIC success, yet a PRIVATE failure.

When it comes to spending quality time with my family, failure is not an option. I look forward to reconnecting with you all on Thursday (the 31st) – the day I may just launch a new look for this blog.

On behalf of the entire Ford family, have a great Christmas!
