Big Rocks First.
“Rocks are like priorities. Only so many rocks can fit in a jar. Only so many activities can fit in a week. The issue isn’t prioritizing your schedule, but scheduling your priorities. Put the big rocks in first.” – Tim Elmore
It’s amazing how many little rocks we will accommodate as leaders, simply because we know that the big rocks around us will take more time and energy to move. Activity does not always equate to accomplishment. You can spend a lifetime moving little rocks, and still not accomplish anything significant.
Think it’s time we all re-prioritize.
