Wow!!! I love this message!! I really needed it. Been through a bit of a trial and now that it is over I am finding myself doubting - should I move forward? should I wait on God to tell me? This usually leads to confusion with me not knowing what to do. I guess after holding on for so long you grow a fear of letting go. I really thank you for the word. It has truly blessed me.

I find this post to be very "fitting" for what I'm currently going thru right now. I am trying to find a church home. What I'm finding is that as I acknowledge myself as a visitor and continue to visit the church/churches, the leaders are not being responsive. They are not coming over to introduce themselves to me or what brought me to their place of worship. If they did they would find out that I am a looking for a church home. Or that I am a thirty-five year old mother of two children, ages 15 and 2 and me and my husband are separated. My family is hurting and while I am too hurting, I am especially looking for some healing for my children. I'm looking for a place to encourage that healing and I want it to be in church. Or that I have battled with alcohol abuse and I have become victorious thru Jesus Christ (you never know who has a testimony to tell). It's time for churches to "lift those anchors" and start discipling to the members(and not just those that tithe thousands of dollars though we thank God for them). Lift those anchors and stop the traditional approach of preaching from the pulpit and start preaching in the pews.

Thanks again Milan. God Bless you Brother!!

The anchor , and your analogy is a very strong comment. I don't get on my computer much , happened to stumble on your blog. Listen also to the song by Anthony Evans (The Bridge) and somehow sensed a young man that God is about to take on a fantastic journey. The way you open your heart speaks hope to others , but in that longing to help others remember to remain in the Secret Place of the Most High. You seem to be in a place were God will use you to help the people that are hurting emotionally. Your wisdom and your comments have helped this 55 year old woman. I've gone through 2 divorces , both husbands unfaithful, but I will always remain faithful to God . Thanks for the uplifting words. Gods best to you and your wife.
Love In Christ,
Mother Green
